Racism, sexual assault, dementia, child abuse, abortion. So if you read this I’d pick up the physical book instead. I did a mix of the audiobook and the physical book and I don’t think I liked the audiobook narration as much. There are some plot holes and at times it felt overly descriptive. The author mentions lots of places in Atlanta. It was fun to read a book that was set basically down the street from where I live. There is a lot of social commentary and things to discuss. It was a good pick because we had a lot to talk about. This was my book club’s pick for February and we were so excited to read it because it a thriller set in Atlanta.
